You can request a repeat prescription by handing in the tear-off slip from your last issued prescription or completing a repeat prescription request form (see below) which is also held at reception. Alternatively you may fax your request or submit a written request or register for online services which includes an online prescription request service. Please see our Online Services page.
Telephone requests are for elderly housebound patients only or in an emergency situation.
It is best to order your prescription when you have one week's supply left.
Please allow a minimum of two working days for your prescription to be processed. Should there be any queries it may take longer to process your request.
The Practice works very hard to ensure that all prescription requests are available to patients within a minimum of 2 working days. In order to assist us in achieving this target please could you make sure that your requests are returned to the surgery one week before your medication is due. This allows us to plan our workload and generate the prescriptions for you within this time frame.
We do our best to ensure that patients do not run out of medication however it is not always possible to do repeat prescriptions on the same day due to staff workloads.
Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
